Lionel Messi’s birth place is Rosario, Santa Fe Province. He has two older brothers and a sister. The names of his brothers are Rodrigo and Matías. And the name of his sister is María Sol. When Messi was five, he start playing for Grandoli. Messi was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency, when he was 11. FC Barcelona bears the cost of his treatment, which was $900/month. After he come round he started playing for Barcelona and he scored 37 goals in 30 matches in 2000 to 2003. He made his official debut on 16 November 2003, when he was 16 years old. After that Lionel Messi keeps doing well and started to collect awards. Now Messi is a very important part of Barcelona. Now Lionel Messi is considered as one of the greatest player of the world.
